Our client is seeking a motivated Finance & Systems Reporting Assistant to join their fast-paced finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with a finance background and a keen interest in systems and data. You’ll be joining the business at an exciting time of positive change and development, with opportunities to contribute to the evolution of reporting tools, system improvements, and automation initiatives. If you enjoy problem-solving, streamlining processes, and working with stakeholders to drive better data-driven decisions, this could be the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support, maintain, and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
*Manage data extracts and daily operational reporting to support the wider business.
*Assist with month-end and year-end processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
*Develop and update reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL.
*Build and maintain financial models to support planning, forecasting, and analysis.
*Analyse reporting workflows and identify opportunities to enhance automation and efficiency
*Collaborate closely with finance colleagues and other stakeholders to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions.
About You:
*AAT qualified (part-qualified candidates will also be considered).
*Strong interest in financial systems, data, and process improvement.
*Experience working within a finance environment, with involvement in reporting or system support.
*Confident working with data, with solid Excel and SQL skills.
*Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools is highly desirable.
*A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
