Job Description:
Our client an award-winning company are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented National Account Executive to support a commercial team within a fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop strong administrative and analytical skills while gaining exposure to sales, retail, and category performance across major UK retailers.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
*Provide day-to-day support to the commercial and sales teams
*Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and organise internal updates
*Prepare presentations, reports, and retailer-facing documentation
*Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and shared documentation
*Support the onboarding of new products through effective internal coordination
Data Analysis & Reporting
*Assist in gathering and analysing sales and performance data (e.g. weekly sales, retailer performance)
*Update and maintain Excel trackers and reporting templates
*Produce regular reports on key performance indicators, including volume, revenue, and distribution
*Support promotional analysis, such as evaluating the impact of discounts or campaigns
*Identify and highlight basic trends, gaps, and opportunities for the wider team
Commercial
*Support account managers with retailer administration, including order tracking, pricing updates, and product listings
*Assist with promotional planning and tracking across major retailers (e.g. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda)
*Help maintain accurate product and pricing information across internal systems
*Liaise with supply chain and finance teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
*Support new product launches and in-store activity tracking
Key Skills & Experience
*Some experience in an administrative, retail, or commercial support role (placements or internships welcomed)
*Strong Excel skills, with basic formulas required (pivot tables desirable)
*Good numerical and analytical ability
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Confident communication skills and a willingness to learn
*Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (Not Essential)
*Familiarity with retailer systems or sales data tools (e.g. Nielsen, IRI – training can be provided)
*Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
Qualifications
*Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
