Job Description:
Chalk Hill Group are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a leading construction business, based in Fareham, for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business operating across a number of exciting projects - offering real scope for development and career progression within a growing group.
You’ll support the finance function and Finance Director by delivering accurate, timely financial information across the two main business units.
Key duties include:
*Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments & journals
*Bank reconciliations and daily transaction monitoring
*Cashflow forecasting (weekly & monthly)
*Processing and validating supplier invoices (multi-site)
*Sales ledger maintenance and invoicing
*Supplier query resolution
*Supporting audit processes
*Ad hoc finance support as required
Our client are looking for a proactive, detail-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll have:
*Strong Excel and IT skills
*Excellent communication and organisational ability
*Confidence working independently and meeting deadlines
*A positive, "can-do" attitude
*AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA
*Experience in construction, property or housebuilding (desirable)
