Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Chesterfield Primary School
Hours: 8:30am - 1:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing until July 2026
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role? We are currently seeking a committed TA to support a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom, supporting pupils across the primary age range, with a particular focus on those with additional needs.
The Role:
*Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
*Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
*Assisting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
*Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
*Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Requirements:
*Previous experience supporting primary-aged children
*A background in SEND support is highly desirable
*A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for education and child development
