D365 Functional Consultant – Contract


My client is based in Cardiff and you would be required on site for the first 1-2 weeks, then you can work hybrid / remote.


I’m working with a really interesting client who are looking for a D365 Functional Consultant to support ongoing system improvements.
This is NOT an implementation role – it’s all about BAU optimisation, configuration, and refining an existing system.


The Role
*Work on a D365 system implemented ~2 years ago
*Focus on closing gaps in processes and system functionality
*Hands-on configuration work (not just advisory)
*Collaborate with internal teams & project stakeholders
*Support move from standard costing FIFO


What They’re Looking For
*Strong D365 Functional experience
*Proven background in BAU / post-implementation environments
*Someone hands-on with config changes
*A "Swiss army knife" profile – adaptable across modules
*Ideally Supply Chain focused (over Finance)


Key Details
*3-month contract (likely extension)
*Cardiff-based
*Onsite first 1–2 weeks, then hybrid/remote
*Start ASAP (next week or the week after)
*9-day fortnight (every other Friday off )
