Management Accountant
East Leeds (Hybrid Working)
£45,000 – £55,000 + Benefits
Are you a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in a fast-paced, commercial environment?
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in East Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a role that offers real ownership, variety, and the chance to influence key business decisions.
The Role
Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, you’ll play a central role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, while driving improvements across systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
*Producing monthly management accounts within set deadlines
*Leading month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
*Delivering insightful management information with clear variance analysis
*Supporting internal and external reporting requirements, including audit
*Building strong relationships across the business to ensure accurate financial data
*Identifying and implementing process and system improvements
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and wider commercial finance activities
About You
*Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*Experience within a busy finance function
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
*Confident communicator, able to work with stakeholders across the business
*Proactive, organised, and comfortable working to deadlines
*Strong Excel skills
