Job Description:
Cleaner/Workshop Assistant
Day-to-day of the role:
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Cleaner/Workshop Assistant to join our Manufacturing and Engineering team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and occasionally fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workplace while supporting workshop operations and the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintain high standards of cleanliness across factory and workshop areas
*Ensure workspace remains organised, safe, and presentable
*Assist with general workshop duties, including deburring
*Provide ad hoc operational support to engineers and team members
*Carry out occasional driving duties when required
Requirements:
*Previous cleaning or workshop experience is desirable
*Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Able to carry out manual tasks
*Punctual and dependable

*Strong work ethic with a proactive, can-do attitude
*Comfortable working in a hands-on, practical environment
*A team player with good communication skills
*Flexible and willing to support across different tasks as needed
*Full UK driving licence is required
