The Role - SEMH Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour & Pastoral Focus
As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant in Gloucester, you will:
*Support students with SEMH, behavioural needs, and trauma-related challenges
*Build strong, trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and engagement
*Use de-escalation techniques and restorative practice approaches
*Provide 1:1 and small group interventions focused on behaviour and wellbeing
*Work alongside teaching and pastoral teams to implement behaviour support plans
*Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and self-confidence
