Finance Administration Assistant

Join our team as a Finance Administration Assistant at the Leeds Community Equipment Service. This role is crucial in supporting adults and children to live safely and independently by managing referrals, coordinating equipment deliveries, and handling financial and administrative tasks.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage and process referrals using ELMS from various sources, ensuring all information is complete and up-to-date.
*Schedule and coordinate deliveries, collections, servicing, and repairs of community equipment.
*Handle financial processing tasks such as raising purchase orders and processing invoices through the Council’s systems.
*Produce and maintain accurate service performance reports and assist with budget monitoring.
*Perform general administrative duties including filing, correspondence, and maintaining manual and electronic records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent experience).
*Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Council IT systems.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing with various stakeholders including service users and partner organisations.
*Experience in a customer service environment, preferably with knowledge of community equipment services.
