Job Opportunity: Engineering Stores Coordinator
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm

About the Role:
We are working with a well-established, modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham that continues to grow and invest in its operations. The site offers a stable and progressive working environment with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Stores Coordinator to join the team. Reporting directly to the Engineering Lead, this role is key in ensuring the engineering stores are managed efficiently to support the maintenance team and overall site performance.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and organise the engineering stores, ensuring timely ordering and receipting of parts
*Source alternative parts when items become obsolete
*Maintain correct stock levels and ensure the stores area is tidy and safe at all times
*Provide reports related to stock control and expenditure
*Perform routine checks on equipment and assist with stock movement reviews
*Support other departments with ordering requirements as needed
*Promote a strong safety culture, reporting any concerns
*Assist with risk assessments and investigations into health and safety incidents
Candidate Profile:
*Proven experience in a stores environment, with strong knowledge of engineering parts and suppliers
*Experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems
*Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Excel
*Ability to raise purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently
*Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment
*Flexible, with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
*Self-motivated, able to work independently, and proactive in identifying improvements
*FLT licence would be highly advantageous
