The OpportunityWe’re working with a well-established and high-performing dealership in Ipswich that’s looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy aftersales department, drive performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities*Oversee the day-to-day running of the service department
*Lead, motivate, and develop the aftersales team
*Drive performance against KPIs, including revenue, labour sales, and customer satisfaction
*Ensure efficient workshop loading and productivity
*Maintain high standards of customer service and retention
*Manage budgets, costs, and departmental profitability
*Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company processes
About You*Previous experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Proven track record in driving performance and profitability
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Customer-focused with a hands-on management style
*Full UK driving licence
