Location: Manchester
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £47,181 FTE per annum (based on 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays)
Contract: Temporary with potential for Temporary to Permanent / Temporary only considered

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Business Manager to take a lead role in the strategic and operational management of the school’s business and administrative functions.
As this is a vacant post, there is the potential for the role to become temporary to permanent. The school are also happy to consider candidates who are only seeking a temporary assignment, as well as those interested in a temp-to-perm opportunity.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage the school’s administrative and business operations
*Oversee finance, budgeting, and resource management
*Provide effective line management to the school’s admin and support staff
*Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
*Support senior leadership in strategic planning and operational decision-making
*Maintain efficient systems to support the smooth running of the school

*Significant management experience within a school administration setting
*Strong financial and operational management skills
*Confident in leading and developing staff
*Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused
*Experienced in working closely with senior leadership teams
