Job Description:
My client is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join our energetic and experienced Sales Team and will be fast-paced, exciting and different. The contribution that you will be able to make will be valued, noticed and appreciated.
Main function of the job;
The principal function of this senior sales role is the acquisition and development of new business. This will be achieved by verbal engagement and in person visiting. When the client is active you will also be responsible for nurturing and maximising the potential of the account.
Working as part of a team of 5 the Senior Business Development Executive will:
*Maintain a level of 100+ targeted new business calls per week.
*Build strong personal relationships with new and existing clients
*Negotiation with clients and suppliers.
*Submit quotes, overcome objections and devise conversion strategies to win business.
*Talking clients through the customs formalities required to ship goods into and from the European Union.
*Account management and client / prospect visiting.
*Attend a weekly sales meeting
*Assist with Company marketing projects, for example LinkedIn posts, marketing literature, e-shots
The successful candidate must have;
* Proven Business to Business (B2B) sales experience.
* Freight industry experience would be an advantage but not essential.
* A friendly, engaging telephone manner.
* Excellent IT Skills, especially Excel.
* An energetic, enthusiastic personality.
* Is able to work to deadlines.
* Innovate and problem solve.
* Strong negotiating skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work with and support your colleagues.
* A positive attitude and desire to succeed.
Salary- Up to £45,000 plus £10,000 - £15,000 OTE
