Continuous Improvement Manager

£40,000 – £45,000 per annum plus benefits
Swansea
Winberry are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Continuous Improvement Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Continuous Improvement professional to make a real impact by enhancing processes, reducing waste, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination
* Analyse workflows to uncover inefficiencies and improvement areas
* Lead improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
* Monitor improvements to ensure long-term sustainability
* Define project scope, objectives, and success measures
* Develop and deliver structured improvement plans
* Support change management to ensure successful adoption of new processes
* Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives based on business impact
* Work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and wider teams
* Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Provide coaching on Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices
* Promote a collaborative and solutions-focused culture
* Use data to identify trends and support decision-making
* Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Provide updates on improvement initiatives and outcomes
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and analytical individual with a passion for driving change and improving performance.
Essential:
* Experience in a Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement, or similar role
* Proven track record of delivering improvements in a fast-paced or operational environment
* Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Desirable:
* Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments
* Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
* Experience leading cross-functional projects
* Advanced data analysis skills
