CNC Turner -The RoleThis position supports small batch CNC turning of high-precision transmission components, primarily within motorsport and aerospace sectors. You will work as part of a small, focused team, with support from offline programming systems.
CNC Turner - Key Competencies and Experience*Ability to interpret technical drawings and route cards to manufacture components to high-quality standards within specified timeframes
*Experience operating CNC lathes, including:
*Victor Turn II 26 HD
*Leadwell LTC 25iL (Siemens 828D)
*Doosan Puma GT3100
*Familiarity with Fanuc controls (essential); Siemens control experience advantageous
*Ability to read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, including adjusting speeds and feeds
*Good understanding of turning tooling and correct application
*Advantageous: experience with manual lathes and/or Harrison Alpha 400 Plus NC lathe
*Comfortable working within a small team environment
*Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
*Flexible to support other areas of manufacturing when required
*Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery requirements
