Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Services Administrator to join a lovely friendly professional team.
Please note this a permanent role which will be working 4 days a week. 9am to 5.30pm.
This role involves working closely with directors, advisers, and financial advisers to provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling client transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional service to clients.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Process, monitor, and record client transactions and documentation with high accuracy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
*Conduct regular reporting of transactional data.
*Coordinate and book client annual review meetings on behalf of advisers.
*Maintain detailed client records using our back-office system.
*Handle the processing of payments and the reconciliation of bank accounts and commissions.
*Perform daily administrative duties, including liaising with investment platforms, Powers of Attorney, Accountants, and other professionals.
*Organise small office events and perform ad hoc duties as required.
*Undertake Continuing Professional Development to meet both regulatory and personal growth needs.
*Adhere to the company’s procedures relating to Consumer Duty Rules, Training and Competence, and Financial Crime at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous administration experience in a financial planning or other financial services role.
*GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
*Professional, approachable, and helpful demeanour.
*Strong numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail.
*Excellent telephone manner and clear written communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Capable of prioritising workload and managing time effectively under tight deadlines.
*Good record-keeping and time management skills.
*Willingness to assist in various tasks during staff shortages or urgent situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience with IRESS XPlan.
*Familiarity with Investment Platforms.
*Broad knowledge of financial services products.
