Production Planning Manager (Manufacturing)

£50,000 Negotiable Salary + 24 days holiday + Flexitime + benefits

Are you a production planning manager looking to put your stamp on an exciting manufacturing business where you will be utilising manufacturing and quality best practice, whilst implementing change and carrying the workforce with you?

You will be reporting directly to the production director and lead the production planning team, where you will be holding a key role in the organisation that manufactures and distribute high quality products to more than 30 countries.

You will be working within a large, multi-disciplinary organisation, and you will understand how to efficiently manage multiple projects, as well as being comfortable presenting to a team of Senior Leaders and Directors.

This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to join an industry-leading company that has been established for over 40 years and has moved to a brand-new state-of-the-art office and factory.

The Role:
*Translating the rough-cut capacity plan into an effective master production plan and deliver customer service excellence
*Working in conjunction with the Inventory Controller to ensure appropriate inventory policies, levels and safety stocks are maintained
*Using, maintaining and developing use of key systems to generate and execute works orders for production
*Capacity and Resource Management, optimising production efficiencies and elimination of bottlenecks
*Leading the Planning team to ensure they are productive
*Ensuring ongoing development and suitability of the production planning process
*Working with the production and purchasing teams to continuously improve processes and performance and effectiveness
The Person:
*Proven experience in the manufacturing industry
*Planning management experience
