Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community from May 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including learning, behavioural, and communication difficulties
*Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to implement tailored learning plans
*Provide one-to-one and small group support to enhance pupil engagement and progress
*Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
*Assist with classroom management and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
*Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach
*Have strong communication and teamwork skills
*Be committed to promoting inclusion and supporting individual needs
*Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
