We are looking for a confident and proactive Accounts Administrator to join a small, friendly finance team within a busy and growing business.
This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in keeping the finance function running smoothly. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in accuracy, and are comfortable managing high volumes of data, this could be a great fit.


The Role
You will be responsible for processing a high volume of financial transactions and supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day duties.
A big part of the role involves manually processing around 600 invoices per month onto Excel, so strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP’s) are essential.
You will also be liaising with Contract Managers, so confidence and clear communication are very important.

What you will be doing:
*Processing high volumes of invoices accurately
*Maintaining and updating financial data in Excel
*Supporting purchase and sales ledger activities
*Assisting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
*Handling invoice queries and liaising with internal teams
*Supporting month-end processes and general finance administration
What we are looking for:
*Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator or Accounts Assistant role
*Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP’s
*Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*A proactive, process-driven approach
*Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
Desirable:
*CIS knowledge
Additional Information
*Fully office-based role
*Small, supportive finance team
*Working Hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch
*Some flexibility on start and finish times (e.g. starting at 8:00 am), as long as total hours are completed
*There are certain key days within the finance cycle where annual leave cannot be taken due to business needs
*On-site parking available
