Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
*Developing and delivering a strategic people management vision aligned to organisational goals
*Leading the evolution and implementation of the overall People Strategy
*Driving key initiatives across Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and employee wellbeing
*Overseeing the delivery of a fully integrated HR and payroll function
*Providing expert guidance, coaching, and training to senior leaders on all people-related matters
*Leading major HR projects, including organisational growth, onboarding, and transformation programmes
*Acting as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making
*Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support organisational effectiveness
*Managing complex employee relations matters and ensuring best practice HR processes
*Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and governance requirements
*Leading engagement with trade unions and external partners where required
*Overseeing HR systems, contracts, and service providers to ensure value and efficiency
*Supporting organisational growth through due diligence, integration, and change management activity

What you will need to Apply:
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a complex, multi-site or public sector environment. You will demonstrate a strong track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives, leading high-performing teams, and driving organisational change.
You will bring expert knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, alongside exceptional influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience developing and implementing people strategies that deliver measurable outcomes is essential.
