This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, values-driven team and make a real impact in frontline public services.

*Providing full admin support including scheduling meetings, preparing papers and minute-taking
*Managing financial administration such as purchase orders, invoices and client payments

*Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets and producing regular and ad-hoc reports
*Liaising confidently with internal teams and external partners to resolve queries
*Preparing and managing files in line with Data Protection requirements
*Handling sensitive information with discretion and supporting petty cash processes
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and promote a self-serve culture
*Supporting statutory returns and maintaining compliance with council policies
*Always working with safeguarding, equality and customer care at the forefront
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced administrator who can hit the ground running in a busy, information-sensitive environment. Proficient Minute taking experience and having worked in a Social Care setting and Local Authority is essential.
Essential requirements include:
*GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
*Local government or public-sector administrative experience
*Proven experience providing business support in a busy setting
*Confident minute-taking experience
*Strong data management skills with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
*Advanced ability in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
*Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
*Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes
*A genuine team player who contributes positively to shared goals
Our Values
You’ll thrive here if you believe in:
