Role Responsibilities
The Private Client Paralegal in Bromley, Kent will support fee earners on a varied caseload of private client matters while delivering a high standard of client care. The day to day responsibilities within this role include:
*Assisting with the preparation of wills and lasting powers of attorney
*Supporting the administration of estates including gathering asset information and preparing inheritance tax documentation
*Handling probate applications and liaising with the Probate Registry
*Managing correspondence with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and HMRC
*Maintaining accurate records and case files
*Providing administrative support to solicitors within the Private Client team
*Assisting with file management, compliance, and onboarding procedures
*Supporting the wider team to ensure efficient progression of matters
Person Specification
The successful Private Client Paralegal in Bromley, Kent will have prior experience within a Private Client team and demonstrate a strong interest in this area of law. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:
*Previous experience in private client law as a paralegal or legal assistant
*A solid understanding of probate and estate administration processes
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive and motivated approach to learning and development
