We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Kinson area of Bournemouth. This is a rewarding full-time opportunity to make a lasting impact on a child’s educational journey.


The RoleYou will be working closely on a 1:1 basis with a child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting the child’s academic, social, and emotional development
*Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo
*Implementing strategies outlined in the EHCP
*Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
*Encouraging independence and positive behaviour


What We’re Looking For*Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable
*A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for making a difference in a child’s life
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, TA qualification) are a bonus but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
