A well-established and reputable manufacturing company is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its finance team in a varied, hands-on role. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong all-round finance experience who is looking for stability and flexibility within a supportive environment. Responsibilities will include managing the sales and purchase ledgers, processing invoices and supplier payments, maintaining accurate records, supporting month-end processes such as reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, and carrying out credit control while liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
Ideally, you will have:
*Strong experience across sales ledger, purchase ledger, and general bookkeeping with exposure to month-end processes and supporting management accounts
*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Confident communication skills and a proactive, reliable approach
*AAT qualified or studying (desirable)
In return, you will receive:
*A competitive salary and a highly generous holiday allowance
*A stable and supportive working environment with a strong team culture
*Flexibility within the role to support work-life balance
*A varied position with real ownership across the finance function
