Sales Director – North West£70,000 – £80,000 Basic + £10K–£15K Bonus + £650 Car Allowance
The OpportunityA rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Director to join a well-established and growing food business, taking full ownership of a successful and profitable sales function.
This is a senior leadership role with a seat on the Senior Leadership Team, offering real influence over the commercial direction of the business and a clear platform to drive the next phase of growth.
You will inherit a stable, experienced team and a strong customer base, with full autonomy to shape strategy, performance, and future success.
The RoleAs Sales Director, you will lead the overall sales function, driving performance, structure, and strategy across both internal and field-based teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a balance of strategic thinking and day-to-day operational management. You will be responsible for delivering revenue growth through your team rather than carrying your own ledger.
Key responsibilities include:
*Leading and developing a multi-channel sales team:
*Internal Account Managers
*Field-Based Area Sales Managers
*Driving performance across an established customer base of ~550 accounts
*Developing and executing the sales strategy aligned to business objectives
*Implementing KPIs, structure, and accountability across the team
*Leading recruitment, coaching, and ongoing development
*Managing sales performance through regular reporting, forecasting, and pipeline reviews
*Conducting field accompaniments and supporting key commercial opportunities
*Working closely with senior leadership to influence wider business strategy

Package*Basic Salary: £70,000 – £80,000
*Bonus: £10,000 – £15,000
