We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a leading plant hire company. This pivotal role involves managing and coordinating a team of service engineers, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to our clients. Responsibilities
As a Service Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
*Team Coordination: Scheduling and rolling out a team of service engineers to meet client needs efficiently.
*Job Prioritization: Assessing and prioritizing jobs to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
*Parts Management: Sourcing and organizing parts required for repairs and maintenance.
*Order Processing: Raising order numbers and ensuring accurate documentation.
*Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for engineers, providing clear instructions and updates.
*Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving any operational challenges that may arise.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
*Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the plant hire or related industry.
*Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Proficiency in using scheduling and order management systems.
*A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
*Coordinating the daily schedules of service engineers.
*Communicating with engineers to provide updates and resolve queries.
*Managing parts inventory and ensuring timely procurement.
*Prioritizing and assigning jobs based on urgency and client requirements.
*Raising order numbers and maintaining accurate records.
*Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
*Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 1-in-3 Saturday morning rota.
