SEMH Teaching Assistant Needed in B12 - Full Time - Start ASAP with Aspire People
A school in the B12 area is looking for a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them engage positively in learning and daily school routines.
What the role involves
Full-time SEMH TA position starting ASAP
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Helping with behaviour regulation and emotional support
Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
Creating a safe, calm and positive learning environment

Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
Ability to build trust and positive relationships
