Job Title: Yard Operative
Location: Coventry
Hours: Days (flexibility required)
Salary: Up to £41,500 per annum
Licences Required: External Tele-handler Required (FLT, 360 Rehandler, Ash Crane – desirable, training provided)

Yard Operative Responsibilities:
*Operate machinery: Telehandler, ash crane, 360 rehandler, weighbridge
*Assist public with correct waste segregation
*Handle hazardous waste safely and monitor tipping hall operations
*Load and manage waste containers and transport
*Keep site clean, tidy, and compliant with site licences
*Maintain records, report incidents, and conduct safety checks
*Provide cover for stores and ash crane operations as needed
Yard Operative requirements:
*Experience working outdoors and independently
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Basic understanding of recycling/waste minimisation
*Team player, physically fit, and safety-minded
