Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist ready for your next exciting role to start in May 2026? RedGreen Partners are delighted to be partnering with a Manchester city centre–based national organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Specialist for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a hands-on, operational role focused on payroll processing and transactions across a complex payroll environment. The organisation has grown through acquisition so has multiple different weekly and monthly payrolls (some with variable pay dates).
This role will be pivotal in supporting and reviewing both internal and external providers and advising on current processes and identifying practical, future-focused solutions. You’ll be proactive, inquisitive, and confident engaging directly with employees; bringing a strong customer-service mindset.
Key to the role will be reviewing payroll workflows such as payroll cut-off/deadlines; pension contributions, approvals, and communications. You will also provide continuous improvements and solutions to drive clarity and efficiency.
This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, and adding immediate value in a fast-moving payroll function. You will be customer focussed with the capability to build relationships at all levels.
This is initially a 6 month FTC with the potential to go permanent for the right person. Salary on offer is £40k - £45k, 3-4 days in their Manchester city centre office and part time may be considered for the right person too.
