Lead Hardware Verification Engineer


Based in Bristol


Salary - £60,000 to £72,500 + Bonus, Pension

You’ll take the lead on verification for complex airborne electronic hardware. Not just executing, but shaping strategy, owning plans, and driving projects through to certification.


This isn’t theory. It’s real hardware, real programmes, and real responsibility.


What you’ll be doing:
*Leading end-to-end DO-254 verification activities
*Owning verification plans, compliance, and strategy
*Working across systems, hardware, safety, and simulation teams
*Driving certification with customers and authorities
*Supporting development of advanced electronic controller products
What matters:
*Proven DO-254 experience in aerospace hardware
*Background in FPGA, ASIC, PLD or complex electronic systems
*Experience leading verification, not just contributing
*Comfortable working across teams and influencing delivery
Nice to have:
*Model-Based Design experience, Matlab, Simulink, Polarion, LabVIEW, Altium
