What role will you play?

In this role, you build your expertise by assessing and analysing a broad range of counterparties, including Private Equity Funds, Corporates, Brokers and a focus on the foreign exchange business as well as lending and other businesses within our Commodities and Global Markets trading division. You contribute early in the deal process by identifying key issues, helping shape the credit response and presenting your insights to senior stakeholders. Working closely with colleagues in the front office, you support their credit risk needs and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the Risk Management Group and the Commodities and Global Markets trading division. You grow your understanding of markets by assisting with the negotiation of legal documentation and trading terms, responding promptly to new trading requests, and maintaining oversight of your portfolio of credit limits and counterparties. You report into senior members of the credit team and collaborate widely, developing the foundations for a long term career in credit risk.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow.
