Job Description
Contract Type: Permanent Part Time - 4 Shifts Per Week
Shift Patterns Available
*Wednesday 00:00 to 09:30 / Thursday 01:00 to 09:30 / Friday 01:00 to 09:30 / Saturday 01:00 to 09:30 = 33 Hours Total
*Monday 02:00 to 09:30 / Friday 01:00 to 09:30 / Saturday 01:00 to 09:30 / Sunday 04:00 to 09:30 = 28 Hours Total
*Monday 02:00 to 09:30 / Tuesday 00:00 to 09:30 / Saturday 01:00 to 09:30 / Sunday 04:00 to 09:30 = 29 Hours Total
*Tuesday 00:00 to 09:30 / Thursday 01:00 to 09:30 / Friday 01:00 to 09:30 / Sunday 04:00 to 09:30 = 30 Hours Total
This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our operation playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key duties include;
*Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision.
*Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!).
*Using our tech to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time.
Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
IMPORTANT: In September 2026 we will be relocating from this site in Durham to our new Distribution Centre in Darlington. Please do consider this before you apply for this role.
