Field Service Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical Bias) UK Wide | South East England-Based
£40,000-£45,000 + Overtime + Bonus (OTE £50,000+)
We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting manufacturing clients across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer who enjoys hands-on work, variety, and autonomy.
The Role*UK-wide field service role (client base mainly North West & South East)
*Service, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing machinery
*Working on:*Conveyors, motors, and pumps
*Hydraulics & pneumatics
*Sensors, relays, drives & inverters
*Single & three-phase systems
*Fault-finding on cutting machines
*Basic work with Beckhoff & Bosch control systems
*Occasional welding/fabrication work
*Mix of electrical & mechanical work (approx. 50/50 or 60/40 either way)
What We’re Looking For*Apprentice trained (Level 3 or equivalent)
*Previous field service experience is essential
*Electrical or mechanical bias (electrical preferred if not 50/50)
*Basic knowledge of Beckhoff & Bosch controls
*Experience in manufacturing environments
*Window industry experience is a bonus (not essential)
What’s On Offer*£40,000-£45,000 basic salary
*Overtime paid at 1.5x (weekends)
*Realistic OTE: £50,000+
*Company van
*25 days holiday + bank holidays
*Project bonuses (e.g. £1,000 for a 3-week project)
*Standard hours: 08:00-17:00

The Team*Reporting to Engineering Manager
*Team of 5 Field Service Engineers + 1 Apprentice
*Ongoing machinery training provided
*Stable, supportive manufacturing environment
