HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s growing and dynamic facilities/engineering team.
We are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential environments.
Key Responsibilities:
*Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning & HVAC systems
*Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely
*Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
*Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards
*Working independently or as part of a team depending on project requirements
*Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
*Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
*Identifying opportunities for system improvements or upgrades
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar HVAC role
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2079 Categories 1-2 or equivalent)
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*Must be willing to travel to different locations Including within the same day. Primarily in Sussex, but also wider south east area.
*Good communication and customer service skills
*Full UK driving licence (required)
*Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
