This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, hands-on accountant to join a fast-moving business where finance plays a key role in strategic decision-making.The rolewould suit someone already operating in industry.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality management information while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
*Ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in line with accounting standards and internal policy
*Producing insightful management accounts, KPIs and variance analysis
*Reviewing and analysing the cost base to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning
*Maintaining and strengthening financial controls across entities and commercial projects
*Partnering with non-finance teams as a trusted advisor
*Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
*Supporting ERP implementation and finance transformation initiatives
*Preparing financial information for stakeholders and corporate activity
Your Profile
*Fully qualified Accountant
*Strong management accounting and variance analysis experience
*Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve
*Proactive, curious and solutions-focused
*Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Sage)
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
