HFG are currently partnering with a Lloyd’s insurer who is seeking an experienced Senior Syndicate Accountant to join its London-based finance team. Great opportunity to work within a high-performing syndicate environment, supporting regulatory reporting, financial accounting, and operational finance activities across multiple entities. You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting, working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders, contributing to process improvements, financial control, and strategic finance initiatives.
The role:
*Maintain strong financial controls and balance sheet reconciliations
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
*Collaborate with teams including Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, IT, and Credit Control
*Support finance transformation initiatives, including system and process enhancements
*Assist with audit processes, liaising with internal and external auditors
*Partner with wider Finance teams (FP&A, Tax, Actuarial, Treasury) on reporting and analysis
*Contribute to ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives
