We are working with an expanding organisation in Birmingham seeking a Customs Coordinator to join their team.
As a Customs Coordinator, you will be the backbone of the international trade operations.
Responsibilities;
*Ensure the seamless flow of goods by managing the end-to-end import and export process with precision.
*Review and process import/export declarations, ensuring all documentation aligns with current trade regulations and statutory requirements.
*Coordinate the daily movement of goods, tracking shipments in real-time to provide accurate updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
*Act as the primary point of contact for customs authorities and external partners, resolving queries and discrepancies swiftly
*Identify and troubleshoot logistical bottlenecks or documentation errors to prevent delays in the supply chain.
*Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to harmonize workflows and optimize transit times.
Skills Required;
*Experience working within the logistics and freight industry
*Customs experience (not essential)
*Good attention to detail
*Excellent customer service skills
