Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a chemical manufacturer to recruit a Engineering Manager in West Yorkshire.

This is a hands on leadership role with a mix of planned maintenance, compliance and continuous improvement.

Duties of the Engineering Manager
*Ensure all plant and utilities are maintained through effective planned maintenance activity
*Oversee site services with a focus on quality, cost control, legislation and customer requirements
*Ensure insurance inspections, safety checks and legislative compliance are completed on schedule
*Follow engineering maintenance and calibration procedures in line with the ISO 9001 quality standard
*Support and deliver improvements to plant, equipment and site services
*Manage maintenance planning, monitoring and reporting to improve efficiency and resource use
*Support capital project planning and ensure delivery to required safety, cost and quality standards
*Provide training and guidance to production teams to ensure safe and effective equipment us
The Person
*Experience in a maintenance or engineering supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
*Strong understanding of planned maintenance systems and site services
*Comfortable working in a hands on role while managing one engineer
*Knowledge of health and safety and compliance requirements in an industrial setting
*Able to plan, prioritise and improve maintenance processes
*Strong communicator who can support and train production teams
