I’m working with a training provider who are looking to bring in a Health & Safety Trainer to support delivery across their programmes, specifically within the water / utilities sector.

The role
*Deliver health & safety training to apprentices and existing operatives within the water industry
*Teaching areas focused on site safety, utilities environments, risk assessment, safe systems of work and compliance
*Deliver training aligned to real-world water and utilities sites (mains laying, reinstatement, streetworks, treatment works etc.)
*Support both initial training and upskilling programmes
*Deliver a mix of classroom and practical-based sessions
*Travel to client sites across the UK as required
*Support learners through training, assessments and progression
What they’re looking for
*Must have worked across water utilities projects (mains laying, civils, streetworks, infrastructure etc.)
*Background as a mains layer, utilities operative, groundworker or similar
*Open to trainers or experienced site-based professionals looking to move into training
*Health & safety knowledge within site environments (utilities/civils)
*Teaching / assessing qualifications beneficial but not essential (can be supported)
*Comfortable delivering to groups and representing the provider on client sites
*Willingness to travel nationwide
