Assistant Management AccountantLocation: Cheltenham (Hybrid)
Reporting to: Finance Operations Manager
OverviewAn opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end processes, and business partnering within a finance operations team. Ideal for someone studying or planning to study AAT, ACCA, or CIMA.
Key Responsibilities*Maintain accurate income records and reporting
*Prepare accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
*Support month-end and quarter-end close
*Produce financial analysis for finance and operations teams
*Manage invoicing and transaction integrity
*Assist with ERP system processes and improvements
*Support audits and ad-hoc finance tasks
*Provide cover across AP and cash management when required
Skills & Experience*Strong Excel and analytical skills
*High attention to detail and organisation
*Good communication and stakeholder engagement
*Proactive, team-oriented approach
Qualifications*Studying towards (or willing to study) AAT, ACCA, or CIMA
*Basic understanding of accounting principles
*Previous finance experience desirable
