Finance Business Partner – Advanced Manufacturing | Sheffield (Hybrid)

The Role
You’ll act as a key finance partner to operational and project teams, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects and cost centres. This is a highly visible role with strong stakeholder engagement.


Key responsibilities include:
*Partnering with operational and senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision-making
*Leading on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
*Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts with clear commentary
*Analysing performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving improvements
*Supporting external funding processes, including reporting and compliance
*Improving financial processes, controls, and reporting
*Supporting long-term strategic and financial planning
*Acting as a trusted advisor to non-finance stakeholders


About You:
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a business-facing role.
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
*Strong experience in management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
*Proven ability to business partner with stakeholders
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly
*Analytical and problem-solving skills
*Experience in a project, contract, or multi-cost centre environment is advantageous
*Comfortable using ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Excel
