Job Description:
Finance Administration Assistant
*Job Type: Part-time (30 hours per week)
*Location: LS10, Leeds
*Sector: Assisted Living
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Administration Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This role is crucial in supporting both adults and children by ensuring timely delivery of community equipment. You will work closely with Health & Social Care assessors from Leeds City Council, NHS, and external suppliers, making a real difference in the community.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Coordinate the ordering and supply of equipment to support daily living tasks and independence.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to streamline the ordering process.
*Liaise closely with Health & Social Care assessors and NHS staff to ensure equipment needs are met promptly.
*Manage referrals, schedule deliveries, collections, and servicing of community equipment.
*Input and maintain accurate data in the ELMS system and respond to telecare calls and email inquiries.
*Process official orders and assist in financial management and budget reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with a diverse range of audiences.
*Experience in data analysis and report generation.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems relevant to the role.
*Knowledge of financial systems and a practical understanding of computerised systems.
*Minimum GCSE pass at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent relevant work experience.
