The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Financial Advisers by delivering high-quality technical and client-focused work.
You will be responsible for producing detailed suitability reports, conducting in-depth research, and ensuring all recommendations align with client objectives and regulatory standards.
This is a varied, technical role that requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail and the confidence to interpret complex financial information, playing a vital part in the advice process!
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing accurate and compliant suitability reports and client documentation within agreed timescales
*Conducting technical and product research to support financial planning recommendations
*Analysing existing client arrangements and contributing to review processes
*Working closely with Financial Advisers to fully understand client objectives, needs, and financial circumstances
*Ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and internal compliance procedures
*Responding to client and adviser queries with clear, accurate, and professional communication
*Supporting annual review processes in line with service level agreements
*Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial products, taxation, and legislation
*Ensuring all CPD requirements are met and recorded
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Paraplanner who thrives in a fast-paced, professional, collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
You will ideally have:
*Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA/Financial Planning environment
*Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and tax planning
*Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
*A solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
*The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
*Minimum Diploma qualified
