Band 6 High Risk Podiatrist – Chelmsford / Braintree / Maldon (Multiple Sites)
Total Assist Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 High Risk Podiatrist for an exciting community-based role across multiple sites in Essex.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established high-risk podiatry service providing specialist care across a varied and complex caseload.
Locations:
*Chelmsford
*Braintree
*Maldon
Please note: This is a multi-site role, so candidates must be car owners/drivers.
Working Pattern:
*Monday to Friday, 08:15–16:15 (start times negotiable)
*Start date: ASAP
Role Overview:
This is a high-risk podiatry service requiring strong clinical expertise in complex wound care and diabetic foot management. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of podiatric care across a diverse patient group.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
*Strong experience in wound care management, including infection recognition and escalation
*Knowledge of offloading techniques and specialist dressings
*Experience with diabetic foot pathways and urgent patient assessment
*Ability to perform manual ABPI, Toe Pressure (BlueDop optional)
*Managing patients with complex needs including:
*Diabetes
*Vascular disease
*Rheumatological conditions
*Neurological disorders
*Wound management
*Nail surgery experience desirable
