Looking for a finance role where you can genuinely make an impact day to day?
This Leeds-based business is on the lookout for an Accounts & Payroll Assistant who enjoys getting stuck into the detail, keeping things organised, and helping a finance function run like clockwork.
This isn’t just about processing numbers, it’s about being a key part of how the business operates behind the scenes. You’ll play a hands-on role across multiple areas of finance, while also supporting colleagues and improving how things are done.

You’ll be involved in a broad mix of finance tasks, including:
*Supporting payroll processes, including submissions and pension administration
*Assisting with VAT returns and ensuring everything is accurate and on time
*Managing purchase ledger activities and keeping month-end on track
*Raising and monitoring sales invoices
*Reconciling company expenses and credit cards
*Supporting commission calculations and internal approvals
*Helping resolve supplier queries and payment issues
*Providing occasional support to credit control
*Assisting with general finance admin and process improvements
What do you need?
*Experience working in a finance or accounts role
*Exposure to payroll and VAT processes is highly beneficial
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
*A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
