Job Description:
Full-Time Occupational Therapist – Private
We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join a specialist mental health service in Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established forensic mental health setting, supporting patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Role Details:
*Position: Occupational Therapist
*Location: Charlwood, Surrey
*Contract: Full-Time, Locum / Ongoing (to be confirmed)
*Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions to service users within a secure mental health environment, supporting rehabilitation, recovery, and reintegration.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver individual and group OT interventions
*Complete assessments, care planning, and risk assessments
*Contribute to MDT meetings and collaborative care planning
*Support patients in developing daily living and functional skills
*Promote recovery-focused therapeutic activities
Requirements:
*HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
*Experience within mental health settings (forensic experience desirable)
*Strong communication and MDT collaboration skills
*Ability to work autonomously within a secure environment
