Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
*Entering and processing large volumes of data and invoices
*Reviewing the accounts payable inbox and supporting invoice management
*Processing warranty transactions and updating the finance system
*Assisting with general reporting, depending on the time of month and year
*Supporting payment runs (with the opportunity to learn and take on more)
*Involvement in accounts receivable and credit control, including chasing payments
*Providing general support to the finance team and helping out where needed
What you will need:
*Either a relevant degree or around a year’s experience in a similar finance or accounts role (Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts Clerk, or similar)
*AAT Level 2 (or working towards it) – but we’re open to those with the right attitude and some finance experience
*Willingness to get stuck in, learn new things, and support the team
*Comfortable with Excel (no need for advanced formulas)
*A proactive, can-do approach and a genuine interest in developing your finance career
*Previous experience in a finance support role (such as Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, or Purchase Ledger Clerk) is desirable but not essential
*Experience with Navision or similar finance systems is a bonus
