Maths Teacher
Location: Birmingham (accessible via public transport)
Salary: MPS/UPS (paid to scale)

Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a vibrant and fast-paced secondary school in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive department, delivering high-quality maths education to students across Key Stages.
The school is looking for a confident and engaging teacher with a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience, who can inspire students, maintain high expectations and contribute to a positive learning environment.
About the Role
Working closely with the Maths department and SLT, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages
* Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students of varying abilities
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing targeted feedback
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Supporting students to build confidence, problem-solving skills and resilience
* Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
* Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding progress
Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Minimum 2 years’ UK teaching experience
* Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
* Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching
* Passion for improving student outcomes
