Looking for a hands-on Management Accountant role in a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business?
This is a great opportunity to join a company that has seen strong growth in recent years, with significant investment in facilities and operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function and wider business.
The RoleA varied and practical position, you’ll take ownership of key finance processes while supporting ongoing improvements across systems and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
*Preparing monthly management accounts
*Managing both sales and purchase ledgers, including credit control
*Processing invoices and overseeing supplier payments
*Producing stock valuation reports
*Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
*Maintaining the fixed asset register
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns
*Liaising with external providers (e.g. payroll)
*Supporting process and system improvements
About You*Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
*Strong grounding in accounting fundamentals
*Confident working in a hands-on, SME environment
*High attention to detail with strong Excel skills
*Comfortable dealing with stakeholders across the business
*Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) is beneficial
