What You’ll Be Doing
*Manage and develop a portfolio of clients, ensuring delivery of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and compliance work
*Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear and practical financial advice
*Review statutory accounts and tax computations prepared by junior staff
*Oversee management accounts and client reporting, adding value through insight and analysis
*Support clients with tax planning, VAT, audits, and general business advice
*Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations
*Mentor and support junior team members
*Keep up to date with changes in legislation and advise clients accordingly
What We’re Looking For
*ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
*Strong experience within an accountancy practice
*Proven experience managing client relationships
*Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax legislation
*Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Proactive and commercially aware mindset
*Experience with TaxCalc and Xero (desirable)
*Audit experience or RI status, or working towards it (desirable)
*Experience working with SMEs (desirable)
